Setup is Easy
To add a new TAP card:
- On your iPhone*, open the Apple Wallet
app, press (“add card” icon), select TAP – Greater Los Angeles, input an amount to add to your TAP card and follow the prompt to complete your purchase.
- On Apple Watch* open the Watch app on iPhone, press “Wallet & Apple Pay,” in the My Watch section, then follow the instructions. Follow the prompts to add Stored Value and complete your purchase.
*Compatible with iPhone 8 and above (running iOS 13.6 and above) and Apple Watch series 3 and above (running watchOS 6.2.8 and above)
Use the TAP app to add a new TAP card or transfer plastic TAP cards, including Reduced Fare and LIFE TAP cards, to Apple Wallet .
Paying is Convenient and Contactless
Simply hold your iPhone or Apple Watch near the TAP dial when boarding a bus or train, and that’s it.
Reload on the Go
Reload your TAP card on iPhone and Apple Watch anywhere, anytime. Simply open Apple Wallet on your iPhone or Apple Watch and select the “Add Money” button. It’s that easy.
