Nearly all transit agencies accept your TAP card. The Transit program gives you the ability to add transit fare (Stored Value or a pass) to your TAP card to ride bus and rail.
Cash Payment Option for Transit Fare
If you don't have a credit or debit card, pay for transit fare with cash in your TAP account. To add cash to your account, go to Payment Options. In the Account Cash section, click "Add cash to your account" and follow the instructions to request a barcode from Pay Near Me.
NOTE: Cash added to your account is not on your TAP card. You must add fare to your card and use account cash to pay at checkout.
