Beach Cities Transit Fares and Destinations

 

Beach Cities Transit fixed routes 102 and 109 serve the South Bay beaches. BCT 109 route traverses from Redondo Beach Riviera Village, through Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach and LAX City Bus Center including the Aviation/LAX Green Line and Douglas/Rosecrans Green Line Stations. BCT 102 route starts from the Redondo Beach Pier to the Marine Green Line Station and South Bay Galleria.

DESTINATIONS: Some of the most popular destinations in the beach cities are easy to find. These fun filled destinations include local eateries, business districts and shopping plazas at Redondo Beach Riviera Village, Redondo Beach Pier, Hermosa Beach Pier, Manhattan Beach Pier and downtown, South Bay Galleria, El Segundo Plaza and El Segundo Main Street. It’s easy to get to around on BCT by checking out real time bus arrival time on Google Maps, the BCT Real Time at www.redondobeachbct.com, Transit App, or Moovit App.

REGIONAL CONNECTIONS: BCT connects to several bus agencies; Metro C Line (Green Line) rail stations, Metro buses, Torrance Transit, GTrans, Big Blue Bus, Lawndale Beat and Palos Verdes Peninsula Transit Authority, to help riders travel around the South Bay area

FARES: Fares are $1 for adults/students and $0.50 for senior/disabled to ride BCT. BCT fares were reinstated on October 1, 2022. The City of Redondo Beach also provides subsidies for BCT and Metro passes to Redondo Beach residents. BCT accepts cash, BCT monthly pass, TAP cards with stored value, and EZ passes.
