Pay with a Credit Card

Starting in spring of 2026, regular fare riders have the option to pay fare with a credit or debit card directly at the validator!

NOTE: Beginning early 2027, Reduced Fare program participants will be able to pay with their credit or debit card and receive a reduced fare.

Benefits of Paying with a Credit/Debit Card

  • Metro and Santa Clarita riders can still participate in fare capping to earn free rides.
  • Metro riders can continue to receive two hours of free transfers.
  • Customers who ride on more than one agency can receive discounted inter-agency transfers within 2½ hours of their first tap.
